Remember Me (360) is only £6.59/$13.19 on the XBox Store currently, so that's the only one I snapped up out of all the sales today.
Final Fantasy XIV Beta Phase 2 on PS4 this weekend, though in truth it's my daughter who has commandeered the TV with the XBox 360 and Assassin's Creed 3.
Thank for this Chris, I'm budgeting on 25GB per game, and budgeting on an average of 200 full games - not including the little indie ones - over the lifetime of the console (as it was for PS2 and 360), therefore I either need a 5TB 2.5" SATA that fits into a 9.5mm bay (doesn't exist), or 3x 2TB 2.5" SATAs that do the same, and they exist so it's an option.
Overall, I think I'd rather swap out games on the existing 500GB HDD than end up having to swap...
I was KB/M on FFXI until it came out on XBox 360, then I switched to controller and never went back, just had the KB in the other USB slot for communicating.
It was the same on PS4 for FFXIV, I couldn't imagine playing it now with KB/M as I started it with controller in the last beta. Not sure how headset comms will work - party chat and so on - so I'm keeping the keyboard handy just in case!
I'll be there on April 4th, got hooked as soon as I di...
I'm pleased he's focusing on Games rather then Games and Entertainment as it was that direction that shifted me from Microsoft to Sony this generation, Sony seemed more about the games, and to me games ARE my entertainment, anything else is just fluff that I don't really want and begrudge having to pay extra for.
If he's got free reign to do as he sees fit then I can see XBox One gaining a lot more momentum after E3 than would have been the case otherwise. Th...
I'm on my toes for Bound By Flame and Final Fantasy XIV on the PS4. I never had a PS3 and my PC isn't up to scratch so it's my first foray into FFXIV, and I loved the beta so I'll be sure to be there for the phase 2 beta on 4th April.
I think in terms of PS4 gaming I'm quite lucky to have found a decent timesink early on, if not for FFXIV and being currently engrossed by the FFX HD Remaster on the Vita I'd be twiddling my thumbs waiting for Destiny or...
Lets say you're a publisher and I just bought your game, that you spent $10m making, for $49.99. I've finished it, and sell it to my buddy for $39.99. What percentage would you as a publisher want considering this chain of reselling could go on forever and yet you've only sold one copy for $49.99?
I was wondering if, whenever 'server' issues are reported on Titanfall, whether gamers should be upset with Microsoft, EA or Respawn. Who actually runs the servers and who puts out the contracts to run them?
Tested the battery life for you: from full charge I listened to internet radio at around 75% volume (pretty loud, I'd use a lower setting personally) for 7hrs 45mins before it cut out and required a recharge.
Re: Battery life, I charged mine when I was writing this article last Friday, it's now Wednesday and they're still going. Irregular but daily use, mostly Spotify and a couple of Blu-Rays, bit of Dead Nation etc.
I'll pop then on charge tonight, then give them a full Spotify workout tomorrow and update you.
I never owned the Pulse Elites but I think kalbo14 covered that below.
I didn't enjoy it. The game opened with fetch quests and I got stuck in scenery about 2 hours in. So I shelved the game for a few months and tried again, then remembered the fetch quests, so it's on the shelf again. I liked he crafting system but that was about it, everything else was kinda generic.
