Those thinking that this will go away instantaneously are naive but at least the conversation has started and the ball though slowly rolling its some kind step. unlike these publishers who wanted to leap before they could walk I prefer the slow approach which should hopefully give those against lootboxes the time to close any loopholes these publishers may try to introduce, just like how overwatch did in china.

They are not fixing anything, they just removed them temporarily and some of you gamers are eating it up. Like really how many times can a company push anti consumer practices on your favourite games before enough is enough. Meh from day one it was just a destiny clone, saw the money destiny was making and decided to get on the loot while it was hot.
Seeing how they did starwars you can expect worse with something they created where they have creative control on what they can charge for
