you're missing the point. I wrote exactly what you are saying I missed. If the journey starts in 2185, during ME2, then they needed to have that technology in order to do so. Yet, why in the original trilogy which takes place during the same time do they not possess this technology?

Definitely like more exploration in the games, and the stories have improved especially with Game of Thrones and the current Batman. I agree though, definitely like to see something new
