VGChartz is bogus. Im pretty sure i read an article at the start of the year saying that the ps3 was a few 100,000 in front of the 360... and this article says the same. How is that possible when the ps3 has been outselling the 360 worldwide by quite a large amount each month?
Amazing studio bringing an amazing game to the market. Completed this once so far and i must say naughty dog have achieved the same thing once in the same console generation... made me feel that pretty much all titles i have previously played were rushed and under-polished in comparison (first with Uncharted 2 and now TLOU). I do agree with this article to some extent, what ND have achieved here is no doubt phenomenal but there are certain flaws which i feel are down to the system simply bein...
I cannot bare to watch this guy, he makes my skin crawl. I don't know if it's just me being miserable and British but his shouting, screaming and excruciating enthusiasm cringes me out big time!
I think everyone is pretty much in the same boat. When the reveal video started playing I was pumped then it came up on the screen I was like WTH? But now I've seen hands on pictures from Engadget and such and it looks a hell of a lot nicer than the Sony press shots!
This is hard to explain but if you follow the blue line to the front of the console there is a power button. Adjacent to that is the eject button... That probably didn't make sense haha the buttons are really small, they look like metal touch sensitive buttons
Does anyone know where the actual disks go? I can't seem to see a slot in the front!
I'm with you 100% I was really peeved when I read that. I don't see why people are trying to justify it when the same people have been bashin Microsoft for it for years. Im still getting a ps4 but I probably won't get ps+ it's very rare that I play online anyway. I'm more of a single player story kind of guy!
Overall the conference was pretty good, I mean they stuck to their word and showed TONNES of games. But when they announced the price my eyebrow kind of raised in an "oh dear" fashion. £429? That's more than the ps3 launched for! I ony watched to see what they were offering I'm getting a ps4 anyway

I honestly don't know how people can play through a game and not watch the cutscenes, how can you be invested in the gameplay if you have no connection with the characters to do so? I personally can't play games with people that skip scenes as it makes me too angry ha! The developers put all of their time and effort crafting wonderful stories just for someone to press skip because they just want to run around aimlessly head shotting everyone and rushing their wa...
I don't know if "full of it" is the correct way to look at it. I feel at this point the negative responses has thrown them out of whack, and they may not even know what they are going to do fully. For the first time since they entered the console game I am quite worried for microsoft, I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed the launch until early 2014. Which would be nice for Sony but i really want both to do well to help drive innovation. I'll be getting a PS4 day one b...

Could not agree more! Can't wait to see what this looks like on next gen systems! This was the first game that anyone ever said to me while I was playing "what is this that you are watching"? The art style was fantastic
True! However I am surprised at the controller category. Aesthetically the Xbox1 looks more premium to me, usability on the other hand... I've never liked the feel of Xbox controllers so yeah i voted for ps4 in every category but the controller, basing it purely on aesthetics
Also, the trailer that is shown at the end where Joel says "make every shot count" I have watched this trailer countless times but never really thought about it but this must be the part where he finally lets Ellie fire a weapon!
Holy crap! The combat is so brutal, but not in a brutal from the sake of being brutal sense. More to demonstrate the desperation you would be facing in this situation! This is amazing
