This is completely false. While the casual market at face value is large, it is incredibly fickle. If Sony and MS start pushing heavily towards casuals that will put off 'hardcore' gamers which In the long run is where the money is.
Attach rate for casuals is incredibly poor, just look at the wii, yeah they might have sold a shed load of systems but casuals didn't buy many games.

Agreed man! I'm hooked. When you're on the high seas and there are ships everywhere, it feels like an MMO. UBISOFT should look into something like that for sure
My first game was KZ:SF and I thoroughly enjoyed that spent a good 7 weeks on the online section securing my platinum trophy! Had a day off of work yesterday so finally decided to buy AC4 and spent a good 12 hours on that. Wasn't blown away to start with but once you get into the full scale naval battles this game is a sight to behold! The stormy seas, cannons firing left and right, tornados and huge waves, I would recommend this game to anyone!
There's one fundamental difference... Microsoft has positioned their TV offerings as an Xbox service , whereas sony has not used the PlayStation brand to push their service forward. Instead ps4 is merely one way of accessing the service that they intend on offering

Ditto. I really enjoyed absolution even though it wasn't a patch on the originals. In fairness, the same thing happened at the beginning of last gen they either put on hold or flat out cancelled the hitman game that they were working on. I'm pretty sure we will see a console and PC hitman game in 5 years or so...

What a silly comment. If Microsoft dethroning Sony as the ultimate gaming king last generation ending up with both consoles success being neck and neck doesn't make you realise that a console cannot be carried by its name, then nothing will. Look at the vita... Technically cracking system but it hasn't sold amazingly, despite it being a playstation branded system.

Agreed. I'd give the game an 8.5 I loved the single player, I'm not much of an FPS gamer and even less so online but one month later and I'm still playing and loving the multiplayer. GG need to improve on story telling and fluidity along with better script writing and I have no doubt that their next game will be golden and should bring them the recognition that they rightly deserve

Somethings not right here, either the team who made Uncharted 3 moved straight onto Uncharted 4 in 2011 hence they would be at a stage where the ps4 engine is much further along that 'just getting up and running'. OR the majority of last of us team started work on Uncharted 4 after the last of us (with some doing TLOU DLC) which would indicate the the Uncharted 3 team are working on something completely different.... Hmmm interesting
@thereapersson I had the same issue as you, I'm not really sure why they don't allow an internal share feature without the need of an attached social network site, same goes for having your own profile pictures. I just created a dummy Facebook account and used that :) hopefully Sony will change this in a future update
How the hell has this not been cancelled yet?
