I haven't played a COD game since the first Modern Warfare, they started getting a little too 'rinse and repeat' for my liking. Hopefully this will bring the series a new lease of life. Definitely not a WWI game from the screenshot ha!
Yeah I'm the same, I'm never sat in a position where it glares off of the TV screen and I actually quite like the blue vibrance it gives in the dark
I think a lot of gamers have yet to see a good implementation of the lightbar as of yet. Personally I love it, the way it was used in outlast for example where it would flicker green when the night vision flickered really helped with immersion when playing in the dark
Never really thought of it like that, you make some excellent points.
I certainly don't envy the marketing team who has to handle this! I find the prospect of morpheus fascinating and if they keep the price below £450 I'll definitely be getting one but I'd hate to attempt to sell this to people who may not be fully knowledgeable on the idea
Servers costs a lot of money
All of the major gaming companies come each other, I think it's a good thing. That way each system can have all of the best features
I'm sorry but it's way too early to be passing on this game, we've hardly seen even a slither of what this game provides. You can't judge on barely even an hour of play
No self respecting man would wear that surely? Its damn ugly!
Me too man! E3 is going to be killer this year!
There's no point in pontificating, we'll find out when we find out
I think this is the main problem here, Michael Patcher isn't a gamer
It didn't once cross my mind that they were acting. People are so cynical
I'm still patiently holding out for The Getaway, I'm insistent that it is still coming. Curveball time, I'd love to see another Croc!!
15-20 years? I highly disagree. We've gone from games such as Doom (on PS) in 1995 to the likes of TLOU, Ryse, Infamous and THIS http://youtu.be/BqeuHGESZBA in 18 (19 for infamous) years. Once that time has passed again we will almost certainly have photo realism. Something that even Avatar didn't achieve
Edit: I do realise that The Dark Sorcerer isn't actually a game, but there is not doubt in my min...
I didn't specify, but I meant more on the character model side of things.
Just watching Avatar, I can't wait to see games with this visual fidelity. I think we can get there by the end of this generation maybe, if not then the start of the next!
Edit: Also, washing this now makes me realise how far graphics have come along in such a short space of time, because this CGI isn't nearly as impressive as it was back in 2009
They've really got the sense of speed down, this is done really well. One of the main reasons i didn't get along with Gran Turismo 5 was the sense of speed didn't seem authentic
Sorry I accidentally pressed disagree but I absolutely agree with what you are saying! So silly
After the atrocity that was Dead Island, I am very skeptical about this game. I don't usually rely on reviews or if anyone else likes a game before making a purchase. However, I will certainly be taking these things into consideration before going anywhere near this title
