MS has their E3 Conference before Sony. So no matter what specs MS announce, Sony will have numerous contingencies in place to make sure they still have the most powerful console. Just like they did with the original ps4 spec announcements. There is ZERO chance of Sony (predominantly a hardware company) will let MS (predominantly a software company) come out on top with raw power. FACT.
i want LBP3!
Yeah i completely get what you are saying, my main point is simply how much of a difference it makes when the guys/gals running the company have a genuine love for gaming... it really shines through in the end product. Ubisoft games for examples, whilst I have had tonnes of fun with so far this gen, you can tell that its just corporate ass hats at the helm with zero interest in anything but money.
Ive never been a fan of this guy. He's like a soul-less shell
It's a very interesting topic to consider. I think the fact that ND have called time on the Uncharted franchise shows just how much they value the fruits of their labour. Also it shows that the higher ups are not JUST out to make money like many others big stuidos, ND's big dogs (pun definitely intended) genuinely care about the market that they are operating within.
"a couple of people" you seriously think that's all who are interested in a prospective ps4 neo
I'd be totally cool with that! The PS4 fits nicely into my media space. However, I do feel that Sony will make some aesthetic changes in order to differentiate the two models
As for the epilogue, I thought it was a perfect end to the series. My only two qualms with the entire game are: 1. that we didn't get to see Chloe. 2. I feel like for how the game is meant to be played (I.e ballsy skin of your teeth action and fights) hard mode doesn't really cater to this, every time I tried to do something cool in a fight id be gunned down in a second of leaping from cover.
Im with you, I loved the boss fight definitely the best in the series in my opinion. Storywise, It felt completely natural and fitting with the rest of the game. I played on hard, it took me a good 40 minutes to win the fight but what fun would it be if it was easy. Not only this but the final section literally felt like I was in the Goonies movie and that for me was a huge win!
I really hope Sony doesn't skimp on aesthetics for the Neo because the PS3 slim and superslim were ugly as hell in comparison to the OG PS3. My PS4 is a centrepiece of my media setup, I'm definitely going to be getting the Neo if/when it releases so I hope I dont have to hide it behind my setup in shame haha

I feel sorry for the devs at PD... Imagine making pretty much the same thing over and over but with a few upgrades. Must be very tedious
Fair point, but I never noticed that Driveclub only ran at 30FPS so... Each to their own I guess right!
After Driveclub... These visuals really aren't that impressive
Well you can start by not giving games 1 year exclusivity on any platform...
Last gen Uncharted 2 kinda ruined gaming for me for a good year post release... simply because everything else released after simply wasn't up to the same standard as what Naughty Dog had created. It looks like Uncharted 4 will be doing the same. I'm only on chapter 9 so far but I have lost count of how many times the game has left me speechless; be it from the sheer graphical prowess, the amazingly involving dialogue and character interaction or the perfectly orchestrated gameplay me...
If you have to clearly state SATIRE in a satire piece (written or spoken)... Then you have most certainly failed
I think this is being misinterpreted... I think the game may be split into 6 SECTIONS as they have stated you play as many different characters. So (pontificating here) 2 hours for each character (if there are 6 different characters) would give a solid 12 hour campaign... I guess we'll have to wait and see
They're definitely being more daring in terms of what they do with their IP's these day, which is why I've started backing them more recently. Now they need to work on their DLC and season pass practises
Regardless of who this is I have to agree with him. PD just haven't been at the top of their game for a VERY long time
