I played about 1 hour of the beta, will be playing more tonight. I can't quite place my finger on it, but it didn't strike me as all that fun. Hopefully I will be proven wrong when I jump in with some buds tonight!

I have 150Mb/s DL speed. I usually get around 130Mb/s from my ps4... speedy enough for me!
I'm very doubtful that they'll reveal the PS5 this year. It's possible that they'll announce a new pro with 4k blu ray capability... but that won't really make much difference to their line-up selection. It will simply replace the current pro, not be another alternative to the base ps4 and standard pro.
I think the likely scenario is that they announced the game far too early, Sony were getting annoyed with the delays so forced them to release in a state that didn't meet their original vision... Stop acting like you know what actually happened. If you've ever listened to this guy in an interview you would know how genuine and down to earth he is - either that or he's a very convincing sociopath... I know which one I'd hedge my bets on
I am almost certain that Sony made yhrm rushed the release of this. To be fair, it did get delayed many times so I don't blame them. If anything hello games have learned to not announce games do early
