Your literacy and reading comprehension are both something to be desired "m8"... are we 13 year olds in 2003 here?

I never said Sony have gone to shit, I said Microsoft have and I said Sony are getting too cocky again.

Yes actually, it does mean exactly that. it's not worth it for me so I'm not buying it. Simple as that 😂

You know nothing about me AT ALL. I am an early adopter, Sony are just getting too cocky yet again.

I've had the top tier of PS+ for as long as it's existed, bought every PS console at launch including the PS4 Pro, Portal, and both VR headsets.i have money, that's not the issue and happy to spend it when I feel like it's worth the asking price.

The money they're asking for just doesn't seem worth what they're offering. And I ...

If it was £599 and included the stand and disc drive I'd consider it in a year or so when GTA VI comes out

Who is "y'all"? Long time (almost 30 years) Sony fan here, never had an xBox. Just sold all my playstation stuff because I'm not happy with their caliber of games this gen. I've always said the Xbox competition is good for the market and them disappearing would be terrible for gamers.

Case and point, £699 PS5 Pro at launch Vs. £349 PS4 Pro at launch.

Makes no difference to me, I love in the UK.

I have been a playstation fan for almost 30 years but I hope this fails, and that's coming from someone who has bought every playstation at launch when old enough to do so from the PS3 onwards, including upgrading my PS4 to PS4 PRO, both VR headsets and the portal.

PS4 Pro launched at £349, half the price of PS5 pro at £699... Let that sink in

Just sold all my PS5 stuff a couple weeks ago including VR 2 and portal, looks like I did it at the right time. Sony have lost me for a while I think it's time for a gaming break for me, this gen has been super stale. I'm sick of open world games, I'm sick of live service. Maybe see you guys again for the PS6 when we start seeing the fruits of their post-Jim Ryan era labour.

This is the first time I've been without a playstation in 27 whole years, got my fi...

Yeah I think I'm gonna take a break, I don't have any other gaming systems.

Sony has bored me this gen. I've literally just sold my PS5, VR2 and portal leaving me sans PlayStation for the first time in 26 years.

I'll maybe see you guys again for the PS6 ☹️

Not in hindsight, it was foreseen by many average Joe's on internet forums, didn't even need to be a business analyst or journo to see this coming.

In that particular instance they are probably right, but the one and only reason being it's harry potter. You definitely can't apply that logic to every single game

Why would that be "scary"? What a strange way to phrase it

Ooh, just you then...

Yeah I've confirmed I'm not a live service type of guy. It was fun for a month or 2. Then just moved on to something else (RDR2)

I think it's unfortunate, but the only fair solution to inflated dev costs. It's already sank so many Devs, something had to give.

I actually am! They had a great show. Hoping for many of the games I liked the look of to come to PS. What an upside down world we're living in.

That’s actually disgusting.

It works perfectly well for them. It just doesn't work well for Microsoft
