Doing 'well' is an understatement.
It's domination, plain and simple. And much well deserved.
Souls games started on Sony platforms, it should come as no surprise that a Souls game doesn't need the Xbox demographic to be successful (or hugely successful in this case)
From the article:
"Halo: The Master Chief Collection had the potential to be one of the biggest titles for this generation of gaming and sadly, it is looked upon like a joke to a lot of people because of the constant issues that have yet to be fixed."
Couldn't agree more. Microsoft has only Halo in their chest of games and they somehow managed to screw that up. The incompetence of 343i is just staggering.
Risen 3 is pretty serviceable, actually. More mid-tier games is always good and they've found a market to thrive on PS4.
Correction, it's an anime not a manga. Aslan is a series of novels that eventually got turned into one short-lived anime in the 90s and a new anime series in 2015.
*adjusts anime glasses*
Anyway, love how PS4 keeps hogging all these games.
@Transistor: Their goal was to
a) transition to a digital future
b) own the living room
c) win this gen
d) sell more than xbox 360
e) get 40% of Germany's market
f) make profit
So far, they have failed in each and every goal (amongst others) - exactly HOW is that a victory when they're practically giving away the Bone? ^_~
Here's another prediction, this time next year when Xbone sales final...
Been saying this for ages. The bigger the gap, the more irrelevant one console will be :)
Considering the RPG exclusives they're giving Sony, (remember that article about PS4 exclusives revealed this year) - I bet they're already regretting it.
I'm curious if Capcom's going to reveal more PS4 exclusives at E3
Redmond, USA.
@rezzah: We're getting a heap of old IP revivals thanks to Sony's dominance. A rising tide lifts all boats.
When MS was leading the mainstream (ignoring the Wii), it was ugly period with very little variety.
Kinda. Xbox 360 did good in Germany.
But the first Xbone advertisement showed American consumer nonsense (NFL etc) and that was a huge turn-off. You also had the German secretary for security calling the The Bone "a nightmare machine"
That kind of stigma sticks.
Yeaaaah, no. That's garbage talk.
PS2 and PSOne had no competition and they were the best years of gaming.
The sooner Devs focus on bringing out the horsepower of one console (with a PC version down the line) the better.
You really can't blame SWERY. The game sold 40(?)-50k. They need to release it on PC to recoup some of the losses at least.
Sunset Overdrive will be next. Quote this post.
You mean dynamic resolution for the XBone?
Damn, I was too slow. :P
On-topic: This game is such an entertaining trainwreck
I know that. I was being cheeky. :P (Since COD and Xbox had a marriage affair)

Apparently, it's 1080p on PS4 and the Dev REFUSED to talk about Xbone's resolution.
Looks Treyarch is going all in on PS4.
True. Moreso in Call of Duty's case.
COD is the 'Kingmaker' when it comes to videogame consoles. To have PS4 be the marketing partner would be...interesting.
Huge decline from last year. It's to be expected. They stuffed the channel.
Kaz putting in work.
343i's incomprence is astounding.
