New CEO. Plus, they spent 20 million euros on Xbox marketing in Spain (read: http://gamerfitnation.com/2... and ended up getting slaughtered in sales 6:1 and upwards. The marketing dept is incompetent.
@killerbyte: It's a little bit of this and a little bit of what JBSleek said. The new CEO has 'mobile first' in his company wide letter and they just acquired Nokia. They're going to have places for these Nokia employees to work in, so people have to be fired and their positions handed over.
