Here's why it's overheating. Look what's on the side of the vent? a Wii.. How do you expect the system to release the air when it bounces back the heat... As you can see, the hot air is getting trapped in between two consoles...

It's too early for the news about the new 360 Slim crapping out. I bet the guy did a stress test to the system to see if it will crap out. Obviously, if you block the vent, then yea, expect it to overheat. Heh.. fanboys
for the ps3 slim to stand vertically, you need to purchase a stand for 20 bucks. Otherwise, you have to risk the system from falling
