agreed. they would be. sort of like that Simpsons game (great game btw) that gave you an achievement for pressing 'play'. 5 gamer points. then again, they were being smartasses making a statement about gaming. i doubt we will see see many achievements like this. maybe at first a few will do it but yeah its really cheap. i think its more of a 'see what we can do with the kinect!?' kind of thing.

I'm getting the x1 but I agree. We should expect a lot better graphics and all that stuff for our money. I'm willing to let them work out the kinks. Clarence, Gears was pretty cool but I'm more into the story. So if the game has a really strong story it has a good chance to win me over. BUt then again if the game play is boring then I won't be a fan either.

I agree. Like Diablo...you love it or it bores the hell out of you. I loved it to death. However I think Ryse's issue is that people didn't really expect a hack-n-slash. I didn't. I have it preordered. I've read a few things about the game now and it seems beautiful but less than stellar gameplay. So I think I'll change my preorder to Dead Rising 3. Maybe I'll wait until the actual reviews come out instead of just previews.
I didn't really care for DR1. It was okay but not wow. I LOVED DR2. I guess it was the fun discovery of the crafting items. Great stuff. I liked Chuck and his daughter. I thought it was a lot of fun. But hey different strokes for different folks. I have preordered Ryse but am now skeptical. I think I'm going to switch to DR3 now.

I'm beyond stoked. I played the hell out of all the MEs, including all the DLC. I played each game at least 5 times (first paragon femshep, then renegade maleshep, then renegade femshep, then paragon maleshep, then again as femshep just because she was the best...). As a gamer I hate this. As someone getting an x1 and tired of hearing all the 'ps4 runs 1080p and x1 doesn't' talk its kind of funny. I guess the moral of the story is 'make sure its not YOUR glass house you are throwing the stones at'.
Developers are just now getting their toes wet with all the new kits. In a year they will all run 900-1080p on both systems.

This is great to hear. I am getting an X1 and not the PS4 (until maybe a few years) but I'm happy for those that get the PS4. From what I understand both systems are really meant to be left on for 10 years or whatever. Good for Sony.
I agree. It is going to come down to the developers figuring it out. Maybe it is tougher to get the fidelity through the X1 than the PS4, I wouldn't know I'm not a developer. I do remember the Sony fanboys blaming developers when they were screwing up PS3 games because Sony had their triple core stuff that made it tougher than developing on the 360. In the end they all ended up the same.

Snap looks awesome. I play a lot of open world and rpg story driven games. i buy the guides to go with it so when im done playing the game the first time i can go back and try and get all the flags/pigeons/stunt jumps/etc. but some times its quicker just to go to youtube and watch. now i can do it at the same time.
oh, and not sure, but was that track that he was racing around the Top Gear track? That in itself is worth buying the game!
