If that is the case then thats down to that company. Your not actually "ripping" the movie to your PSP, just that the Blu-Ray will come with the PSP version already on the disc.

But i find it hard to believe, if that was the case how exactly are you ment to get your CD's onto your Ipod/mp3 player?
you could buy at least 250gb PS3 combatible HDD for that.
Once you buy a movie you can do as you please, copy it to your PC, PSP whatever as long as you dont sell/make profit from your actions.

PSP output is the same if not better than a standard DVD. I know from personal experience.
