it would probably take longer to arrive from ebay than just wait till the release date! its only a game, paying more than RRP is madness (madness...? this... is....) when the release date is just round the corner!
yes he has infact edited his original comment you tit. i copied and pasted the quote from his comment so please refrain from calling me a retard!!
and why the hell is everyone talking about selling more xbox's, this is a page for halo single player/video editing not about making bills pockets fuller.... topic people... topic
hmmm.. where did you get this from... "BUT it's still the 3rd installment of the largest grossing video game of all time" any evidence or is it just another fan-boy comment?
im pretty sure your talking ass...
edit... please dont change the contence of your comment to make my quote appear false because i managed to catch you out on your false information!
im not sure there has been official word on this yet, but im sure thats something that they'd want to impliment! id like to know what type of format these videos are stored in, window media file perhaps...?
these forums are for 'comments' not bloody essays or cut and paste maniacs! just listen to what developers say, they're the ones and the ONLY ONES who know, all this, 'oh the ps3 is soooo much better....' 'oh the xbox pwns the ps3...' blah blah blah its getting old know!
anyway if you want the best looking version get it for the pc!
hmmm, i was expecting a little more really, thought there'd be a few 'OMFG!!' or 'IT'S AMAZING WHEN....' not just oh well its just halo, nothing more, nothing less!
bit dissapointting.....
edit @ FreedomReign
yeah i was thinking that but generally ive always found Kotaku's reviews/blogs to be pretty spot on! and with regards to 'i liked it' i think both bungie and MS where hoping for a little more! i know i was... =(
last night i was also reading a post on the official ps3 forums, where a 'sony developer' released some details on the next firmware update. saying that it will also allow you to access the XMB while in-game, it will reduce the memory used by the XMB to 32mb from 96mb, play your own music during game, and several others i cant remember! unfortunatly, all the post seem to disappear from the net pretty fast so i havent been able to supply a link!
if anyone else read this or knows...
looks like EA didnt just cut corners on the ps3 version huh? oh well crap ass american football just got crapper!
edit @ armyless... dont watch it??? sorry have i come to the right site, this isnt 'NEWS FOR TV VIEWERS' is it?
yeah thats right mate, i thought this whole site was about xbox 1.... NO! i ment the 360 and yeah, for your information i do know what the hell im talking about!
right of course 360 has lots of games, its been out for 2 and a half years, id be worried if they only had a hand full!
not if your one of the poor gits who bought one over the last to years!!
gotta agree with a few things you said, but it IS easier to develop for the xbox due to it being very close to the way pc games are generally developed, while this is good in the short term, lots of games, better multiplatform performance etc, but, and its a big but, this limits the capabilities of the xbox. Ok so the ps3 is harder to develop for, you can see this by the first party games being far superior to the third party/muliplats, but it has huge potencial, it just needs the time! all c...
i realise that electronic companies change parts for several reasons! but any xbox sold next year is gonna have near enough completely different hardware to a day 1 xbox! generally its all down to cutting costs and i very very much doubt that this saving will be passed on to the customer!
of course MS are trying to resolve the RROD, they are suppossed to be an industry leader and the xbox in general has been a joke, maybe they should stick to what they know, SOFTWARE! and befo...
got to agree with you there Captain Tuttle. but im sure sony are going to be committed to HOME, ive spend a far amount of time (work time that is) reading up on it and it seems as tho HOME's protential is endless! i guess only time will tell!
i woulda thought its because they are cheaper for microsoft, maybe the original hardware could have be responceable for some of the red ring of death?
still it cant be a good thing that they keep changing their hardware/producers, shows microsoft has no confidence in them which makes it hard for people to have confidence in their product!
like i said above, you wont have to buy half life and epiode 1 again! as it stands, i know that both episode 2 and portal are both going to be downloadable from steam, in fact romour is that portal will be available for download the day before store release! there may be more information on steams webpage:
www.steampowered.com
Valve are one of the best developers out there, try checking things out before you take a pop shoot at them! hope this helped^^
totally agree mate! what a pointless piece of crap!
@5.....im sure i read that they will release a pc version containing just episode 2, portal and team fortrous so no need to sell your old half life 2!
@5.1.... as far as i know HDR lighting is ONLY available on the pc version and it was used through-out episode one (previewed by loast coast), episode 2 also has some new addittions to the engine, valve have said that they want it to be able to push current top end pc's!
ive played both half-life 2 and epiosde 1 on...
i woulda been more than happy to give her a little kick to the gut, wheres a set of metal stairs when you need them?
joking!!!
english language new to you or something?
more complete fan-boy-ism! bored of it all now! anyway no matter how good it looks on any console the pc version on a decent pc will blow it away!
