"This is a complete joke, this system has nothing “console” worthy besides a few remakes and Resident Evil Revelations, and I bought my 3DS mainly for RE: Revelations, and I admit its fan[censored]tastic. That is literally all it has going for it, and a few remakes."

Steve then uses examples of ports and emulated games (despite the 3DS also h...

The article the writer is responding to contained misinformation and employed opinions as facts. This article is no different, also presenting opinions as facts and spreading more incorrect information.

On top of that, the writer of this article incessantly uses language such as "HAHAHAHA", incessant cursing, poor capitalization, etc.

In the author's attempt to offer a rational rebuttal, "Steve" went below the level of his predecessor....

I believe that comment was referring to Sony's financial situation as opposed to the sales of the PS3. The PS3 was not mentioned, but "financial pressure".

Also, I don't keep track of Microsoft, but I do know that Sony's and Nintendo's financial situations have been less than hearty as of late. If a quick Google search is to be believed, Microsoft has been experiencing similar troubles.

By your logic, the author would be a "fanb...

The "First Edition Vita" is actually a bundle. It contains a retail game (Little Deviants), a case for the Vita, a 4GB memory card, and the obvious earlier access to the system.

Were you to purchase these things in the week after the First Edition Bundle, they would cost a bit more to buy individually.

What if it ties/will tie into a different FF game? Obviously that's extremely unlikely and wouldn't make too much sense if the second is numbered and the third isn't, and I can't say much having not played until the end, but I've seen stranger thing happen. It would give them an out if XIII-2 is poorly received in other territories.

I've got to say, nearly every single complaint about design in this article applies to the first three (but mostly the first two) generations of Pokemon as well.

Combee= Unrealistic flying being with multiple faces with human-like feature(s)= Magneton
Cherubi= Biological plant with a face= Sunflora
Pidove= A regular-looking bird= Pidgey
Deerling= A deer with minor alterations=Stantler
Lickwit= Unnatural object with a face= Electrode

I go for games not hardware and specs.

So both interest me, and I'll be putting the Vita next to my 3DS.

@slutface
I believe I previously established that Metroid and Zelda are released less than annually? Metroid in particular, actually under performs, which is likely why it is not frequently released. Kirby, your new example, continues to be incredibly popular in spite of its frequent releases.

Their franchises are selling fine. Pokemon Black, released less than a year ago, broke numerous records and sold over 11 million copies. Kirby's Epic Yarn has nearly sold 2...

Metroid has seen 12 releases in 25 years. Zelda has seen 18 (a few more if you count the likes of Tingle and Crossbow Training) in 25 years. Mario and Pokemon have indeed been milked, though Mario has not seen that many main series platforming games, same with Pokemon (which, even then, are inflated by having multiple versions of the same game).

However, Nintendo released more than 20 fresh IPs since the NES: Golden Sun, Chibi-Robo, Professor Layton, Sin and Punishment, Stafy...

I don't get the the circle pad hate. While the PSP one was small and not very comfortable to use (in comparison to a real controller I mean), the one on the 3DS is nice and big in a convenient location. I certainly wouldn't mind a better one on a real controller.

Could someone please tell me how a well-made circle pad is any better or worse than a traditional analog?

The Wii was focused on local multiplayer, hence the name "Wii" or "We". This one is called the Wii U or "You". Reggie Fils-Aime explained at e3 that this is referring to the company's intention to improve single player experiences.

Although multiplayer might not reach its full potential, it's hard to deny that the product is set to live up to its selling point, offering an improved single player experience. That said, complaints about the...

A console's specs do not dictate what "generation" it's in. It dictates what games the console receives. PS3, Xbox, and Wii are just the mainstream "competitors", there are numerous other 7th gen systems. You would scoff at them if you scoff at the Wii, though.

I can respect that they don't want to change their classic games so much that they become radically different and lose sight of what the original was like.

But how would it harm the game to add a completely optional feature? If the DS could handle (relatively speaking) Star Fox Command online, why wouldn't the 3DS be able to handle a reworked game that's 14 years old? It's not like they don't have enough space on the game card to work with if their priorit...

If you're moving the handheld around, your eyes won't be in the 3D "sweetspot" and the 3D effect won't look right. Having played FaceRaiders, used the AR cards, and played Super Monkey Ball, it's pretty apparent that moving the handheld around as much as the video showed would make the 3D look awkward.

Not that it really matters since you're just pulling out your bow for like 5 seconds though, lol. It's hardly game ruining, and might be nice ...
