if u played the others on ps2 then ur gonna be comfortable with the ps3 version, the 360 controller is great but not as good as ps3 controller for action games
from the vid tho, the ps3 version was smoother, but barley a difference, now as for what u say about ps3 games, u know its pretty early ^_^ a year later ya i guess, 2 years later for 360...remember back when king kong came out on 360, it didnt look much different than the ps2 version??? making games for the easier system usually hinders the stronger console when its ported.

besides anyone who played a star ocean game knows that star oceans are HUGE!, and can get 150 hours easy with all the side quest and alchemy, weapon, armor, item, accesory, etc creations, character recruitment, 5+ endings, different private actions, different characters to get thru a playthru, moves, realtime action packed combat, etc, so muc...
so no offline play unless theres more than one ps3 in the house, or ur going against bots
no multiplayer split screen, totally destroyed the game for me, im returning it tommorow :( was fun too
