Thanks for the info - did not know all that stuff about Spartans. The Halo universe is so immersive that playing the game alone does not do it any justice. I am going to have to pick up the books, which one do you recommend first - I heard good things about Ghost of Onyx and Flood.
Its mind boggling that Halo does not have a movie as yet - the story is there all you need is a good director and a good budget.

I just thought people were mad him because he did not want to develop for the PS3 at the time. If really said that then yes, he deserves all the back lash that he got from the PS3 community. Fair enough that the PS3 was a hard beast to team when it first launched but to say stuff like that is just being ignorant.
Only time will tell if the PS3 community has forgiving him for his mistakes.
Saints Row 1 - if so can not wait to see what the online is going to be like. SR 1 introduced me to online gaming and had lots of fun at it.
I still check out the online on the 360 but since SR2 dropped (Hate the online) the rooms have been empty.
Lets hope the PS3 COMMUNITY brings SR1 online back.

I have not read the books but my guess is that when you go into the spartan program you erase your pass and have no family. You keep your first name but your last name is now the number that the spartan program gave you. My only thing with this theory is that I dont think there were 100 spartan.

Do Sony only give the boot sticks to the big developers or do they give them to small PSN studios as well? Also if a big studio closes I wonder if Sony ask for the boot stick in return, how do they keep track of these boot stick - LOL I sound like an interviewer.

GT5 looks out of these world - When I watch the videos I cant stop but think about the perfection that went into this game.
Most PS3 fan just misunderstood Gabe as to why Valve was not developing for the PS3.

Sony has been successful with the PS2 and the PS3 on the market.
MS could continue to support the 360 for the casuals, which I think is the purpose for Kinect, to draw them in. The can also bring out the 720 and make it for the hardcore.
