PS eye didn't fail. Neither did the Eyetoy. The Eyetoy sold close to 8 million units.
The Eye has sold millions but not sure the exact number.
Obviously it's a problem. It's why Kinect will never be in core games. It's why the Kinect is a 150 dollar Eyetoy with zero potential regardless of how well it can track your joints.
Just look at the games. Even the number one game for it which is Dance Central barely uses the Kinect. It does the same thing any DVD teaching you how to dance would do.
In fact, Dance Central could be on the PS3 and probably look a hell of a lot better since Move/PS ...

I had much more fun with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both MP and SP. The levels in ROTF were kind of...eh but at least transforming was fun.
I think Sony's ad agency was trying to portray the fact that the PS3 was a really powerful machine that could do everything.
Not a great ad for selling things but it's still pretty neat.
I don't mind the disc that much but I'd still like to have a game in there instead of the Netflix disc so I can play the game and fall asleep watching Arrested Development.

It's PS Plus exclusive for a week. I'm a member but it seems sort of silly cause i'm pretty sure they took the regular demo that was meant for everyone and just made it exclusive for a week to Plus people to make them feel special.

It's a great game really. Fun arcadey racer that is sort of reliant on skill and not just random power-ups like in Mario Kart.
It also combines the COD Perk system in MP.
But it was so stupid of them to release a beta only for the Xbox and leave the PC/PS3 in the dust in terms of demo/gameplay.

Farther down the line maybe. But really far down the line. Blu-ray has enough staying power that Sony can just use Blu-ray XL or something like that for the PS4.
Blu-ray XL is like 100GB's PLUS. Pioneer also made a 500GB Blu-ray disc.

A little too late. Trophies on the PS3 should've come earlier as well but it was only two years after launch.
Plus add the fact that Wii games can't even be patched and the whole "online system" Nintendo has is total garbage, it's useless.
How about you add this into the 3DS? A unified online system with one ID and achievements. And then when the next home console comes out, that achievement system can transfer over?
