I'll admit that I switched to the soldier a few times while we were being dominated. Shame on me.
I enjoyed Liberation, played it a while back. Although one level that seriously PISSED me off was that fight with the guy in the big tank thing that shoots missiles and machine guns etc.
Not very descriptive I know but I got so frustrated I left the game for a few weeks, came back and then finished him off.
They're in beta phase right now. I know because I was in the beta that started in about a month and a half ago. I can't go into details but I enjoyed the time I had with it, although I didn't stay for long as it's not my type of game. The first phase of the beta also ends December. They'll be starting a second phase come January 2010.
So don't worry, these guys are on the ball.
Nope. They were planning to have it in December but I believe it was postponed. Can't remember where I read about the delay but I'm pretty sure that's the case.
So hopefully our PC's will start a new year with some full on Battlefield online madness! :D

Anyway, shots look amazing. And so many varied environments too.
Waiting for an official announcement either from Lucas Arts themselves or the developer working on the game. My heart was already broken at the VGA show and I'm not emotionally ready to invest once more into the notion that Battlefront 3 is out there somewhere!

Man, fu*k me. The Force Unleashed was an average game, and I'm hugely disappointed that this was the Star Wars game reveal.
I even had a fu*king dream last night that I was scrolling down N4G's page and seeing a news article titled "Battlefront III announced". Yeah, I know that may be sad but that's how much I wanted that game.

I also hope, like others, that they deliver a great SP experience like the first one and that the MP doesn't bring it down. I feel like I'm in the same situation as when MP for Uncharted 2 was announced, but look how fantastic that turned out to be.

Don't count it out just yet. We've yet to see anything from it, aside from this one pic.
I don't think it would work very well with the amount of destruction going on, it would be hugely chaotic. Although chaos is usually fun, I'd imagine this would become frustrating because you wouldn't know where the hell you were or what was going on.
Plus, there's not enough TPS out there.
