I have an in with Capcom. I've forwarded your question to her and will let you know of any news ASAP. Thanks for commenting.
Precisely. There's a reason why press releases are sent out before an event. It's not like a spoiler or anything, just a preview. What's the difference between seeing it now vs. after the convention? I think it's a favor to the fans and a way to create conversation among the community. Any news *after* E3 hits is kind of late, imo. :)
I know that was probably rhetorical but I think there's a time-honored nostalgia that goes with franchises such as SF. I first played it when I was 13 and fed the arcade cabinet many a quarter as I grew up, but haven't played it on console because I basically suck at fighting games. It's fun to watch the characters evolve especially with the improvement of technology and embracing new characters and game mechanics. The bar for cosplay has definitely been raised for fans who want to emulate their favorite characters. We can't all be master seamstresses or afford the materials needed to recreate super-high level accessories. The "pro" female cosplayers out there not only ruin the concept for me, but have changed my outlook on society's acceptance of cosplay in general. I don't have a big bust to make my costume sexier, so I look like a kid who pulled her costume out of a plastic bag ...
Yes, KontrolFreek introduced it as the company's newest addition to its CQC thumbstick line up a few days ago.
I will find out for you :)
