Another stupid article from yet another stupid "journalist". I did not bother to even read the article because I'm getting tired of these types of articles that say gaming is dying, consoles are going the way of the dinosaur, will the next console cycle be the last ever, single player gaming is dead, blah blah blah. Gaming will continue to evolve, but as long as people seek entertainment, gaming itself isn't going anywhere, and neither is single player gaming. Who the hel...
This is a great way for 343 to introduce dlc for Halo 4. Season 1 will be free and it will give gamers a chance to see what they do with it and if we love it 343 will certainly be in a better position to sell more of season 2 than they otherwise may have been in a position to. This aspect definitely has my attention. I rarely buy dlc, (except for the Mass Effect series) but in this scenario, I'm not buying content site unseen but will have an idea of exactly what I will be purchasing i...
The only collectors editions I purchased were ME2 and ME3. They were reasonably priced compared to some other collectors editions and included items and dlc I found interesting/necessary. I buy many games for my 360 and PS3, but I have never purchased one piece of dlc for any game other than the Mass Effect series. That includes games like call of duty, Uncharted, Gears of War, Infamous, Halo, GTA IV, etc. etc. I do buy alot of games, but usually (with the exception of Mass Effect) by the...
Why, because you say so? Are you some sort of authority? What a douchebag.
The ending is fine. If you're still complaining, you're one miserable sad sack. End of story. Mass Effect 3 overall was fantastic. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know dick about videogames.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Obviously people ARE buying it, because companies continue to do it. If it didn't make them a profit, the practice would cease. We as consumers have the power to vote with our wallets. The sad fact is too few of us do. I own a PS3 and 360 and have bought a crapload of games for these systems over the years. The only dlc I have bought for either system is for the Mass Effect series on my 360 because I love that series and it doesn't mat...
I loved ME3, even considering the questionable ending choice Bioware made. But the one thing I didn't care for at all was how they unveiled Tali's face. Not my sweet, dear Tali. She deserved more after serving such a pivotal role since ME1. She is my favorite, just beating Liara in the quest for my heart. I really wanted her to have an exotic, alien look, but she looks like a girl I dated a few years back. Why Bioware, why? With all the talent at Bioware you couldn't come u...
People may enjoy mobile gaming because it's convenient and something to do to pass the time, but how is gaming on a small screen ever going to match the experience of going home to game on your 50 inch flat screen? It's not. Two completely different experiences and there is a place for both of them. Why this idiot would say otherwise is beyond me. I enjoy getting a bunch of friends together to battle it out in competition. It's much more personal that way. It's much more...
Listen to these two turds. Little babies want mama to hold your hand? You want your binky? Grow up. Life is not going to answer all your questions, why should videogames? The point is, your Shepard is your Shepard. Instead of wanting everything wrapped up in a nice little bow, what's wrong with some intrigue and speculation? Nothing. It's smart on Biowares part to leave some questions unanswered. I have no problem with the update to the ending. The trilogy was fantastic. Th...
Sony Entertainment has posted multi-billion dollar losses in the last few quarters, being affected by the Japan earthquake, the hacking fiasco, and the unexpectedly strong competition and subsequent sluggish ps3 sales this gen (relatively speaking, compared to last gen). Sony have already gone on the record stating they would not be spending anywhere near what they spent on the ps3 for their next gen console. That pretty much leaves the ball in Microsofts court. With the killing they make ...
Mass Effect 3 is a very good conclusion to the trilogy. The gameplay is better than ME1 or ME2, with the story from ME1 being the best overall. But in terms of where Bioware took the franchise, only a fool would argue that they made it worse. It's no surprise there are many fools out there, eager to complain about Bioware's hard work and commitment to the Mass Effect galaxy. The trilogy was fantastic, and while I definitely agree the original endings of ME3 were disappointing, Bio...
This is what I know... if gaming companies want my dollars next gen, the new consoles better have INCREDIBLE graphics, and gameplay needs to be more in depth. I have an xbox 360 and ps3, and though the ps3 has 50 gb capacity on blu ray, single player games are still typically 8-10 hours. How about giving me more content with greater capacity, not just marginally better graphics? I want the next gen to give me things I didn't even know I wanted, not just incremental improvements to thin...
I think the synthesis ending was the best. EDI survives. Shepard becomes immortal. Anyone see a correlation to religion in Shepard's death, resurrection, and life eternal? Shepard sacrifices himself so that many may be "saved" and in doing so, becomes incredibly powerful and godlike. Also, the significance of Bioware giving the commander the name Shepard. No first name. A herder of people, in effect, himself a collector (Oh the irony). Interesting that this was the choice the il...

Listen to the morons berating Halo. The game is popular. Get over it. People like it for a reason. I don't particularly like it, but that's my opinion. Just because you can't afford a 360, or don't play it for whatever reason, doesn't make it crap. And it certainly doesn't mean you aren't missing out on some great exclusives, because you are. As a 360 and PS3 owner, I can't believe there are still people who banter back and forth about this system versus t...
Movies haven't outgrown sex or violence, why should/would videogames? This article is ridiculous. This just in genius, people like sex and violence. If you don't give the people what they want, your game may be great, but it won't sell, and you won't have a job.
I'm confused, at E3 we were told smartglass was coming later this year? Wouldn't that require an update?
Are all you losers ten years old? Who gives a rat's ass which system is better? True gamers have a 360 and a PS3 as each system has it's strengths and weaknesses and each has had it's fair share of great exclusive titles. 360 has some good exclusives, PS3 has more. Multiplatform titles play better on the 360, the PS3 versions are often broken messes that never really get properly patched. The graphics rift between the two consoles is not that big. Get over it. I wonder what ...
Idiots really still thought this game was going to be out in 2012? It's July morons. No GTA V, no The Last of Us, stop it already. One trailer and the morons lose their shit.
