It is staggering to stand back and take in the magnitude of Microsoft's unprecedented failure in the console market:
* Slapped a bunch of very expensive to manufacture desktop pc parts in a big ugly black box and tried to pass it off as a console
* Racked up 4 billion or so in losses over four years for a tie for last place with Nintendo last gen
* Was forced to pull the Xbox from the market early leaving Xbox owners and devlopers in a lurch

The irony is absolutely hilarious.
Vgchartz has spent the past two years inflating 360 sales figures and underreporting PS3 sales numbers. As the PS3 continues to sell more and more each month vgchartz even had to resort to claiming their inflated 360 US sales data was 'more accurate' than NPD after spending all of last year stuffing extra 360 sales in mysterious categories like Europe/Other and Other/Other which still wasn't enough to keep the 360 close to PS3 sales.
The question is...why is 720p native important when all games can up-convert 480p and fit nicely on your 720p display? Can any of you tell the difference between an up-converted 720p and a native 720p image? I think not, so squash it.
QED, the 360 should stop wasting time on the useless 720p rez.
