GTA4 should win the award so that people will realize that whoever wins it's just their opinion and doesn't mean it's better just because it won the award.If it's an exclusive that wins than fanboys will start a flame war but if it's GTA4 then fanboys can't start flaming and everyone knows it's not the best game of the year so people will realize the awards don't mean sh1t. EA is the biggest 3rd party studio in gaming right now so I don't see them going anywhere. They might just decide not to make a console as there was rumers to an EA console.

If alot of developers are going to take advantage of this kind of space then Microsoft better think of something like switching to hd dvd and they will have to stop charging royalties for extra disks.I doubt it that they are going to start using 100 gigs of space though. Maybe the Sony exclusives like mgs or god of war but definitely not EA or activision.
Look at the games. Which exclusives do you like better?If you are Metal gear solid and god of war fan you will want to go with the ps3 but if you are a halo fan you will want to go with the 360. Just base your choice on the exclusives.

The ps3 did sell more consoles in 2 years compared to the 360 but Sony is losing money with each console they sell so I would say Microsoft s doing better at the moment. The ps2's sales are helping so that Sony breaks even or close to it so they aren't doing that bad. Overall 2008 was a good year for Sony.
Of course compared to the ps2 they are doing bad, the ps2 didn't have much competition but now Microsoft is really putting an effort in competing with Sony. It's great for the industry. You don't want the gaming industry turning into the movie industry where all the games are average do you?
