Good for Sony. I own an Xbox One (quite content with it) and its good to see Sony succeeding with the PS4. Both systems are good in their own right.
Lol, Nope, but I figure these systems will last awhile and if the Xbox and PS4 last 10-11 years like the 360/PS3 I'll be in my 30's so I figure got to move on.

I'm not into racing games so Forza is a no go. Sunset Overdrive looks cool, but I personally know no one who's getting it, so I probably will not be getting it as well. As for Halo, I will be getting that, but I highly doubt there will be DLC. Its 4 main series Halo games with all maps, DLC maps I believe are included. I digitally preordered AW. All my Xbox One games are digital. I prefer it to prevent me from trading in a game and buying it again later down the road. Good thing I bought a 1TB hard drive off Amazon

Never did play the GC ones. My first game in the series was CoD 3 for Wii. I never played an HD CoD game until 2010 when I got MW2
I am honestly excited for a Call of Duty. Black Ops 2 generated a lot of hype from me, but this one takes all of that and multiplies it by 3... Very excited for this. And half of that excitement is the single player. It looks fun and interesting. Call of Duty has always been solid for me, no matter how much I may bag on certain entries in the series (MW2, MW3, and Ghosts) I always have enjoyed them. I know the same gameplay for each game, but that's what makes it fun. Its instantly familiar! I also play it because its fast paced, and just a lot of fun to play. Its alright that you never got into it, its not for everyone, but for me I like it. Been playing this series since 2005. Until 2009, I played Call of Duty on Wii only. That was a lot of fun with the controls. Now I like playing the games normally, but its always fun to refresh it with the Wii Remote controls :)

I personally found MW3 boring. I was playing the original Black Ops when MW3 was the newest CoD game. Black Ops 2 multiplayer was great. Highly enjoyed that when I had a 360. Ghosts is OK at best. Its playable, but it was such a huge step backwards in my opinion. This years Call of Duty looks amazing,(adding all the game modes fans want is only part of it) and if Treyarch cannot beat Sledgehammer for their CoD (better include the "War" gamemode), Advanced Warfare will be my main CoD...
The campaign gameplay that they have released so far looks great. Hopefully it doesn't pull a Black Ops 2 and halfway though it, it turns to complete crap and undoes everything. Haven't been this eager to play a CoD campaign since World at War on the Wii.
Microsoft never did succeed in Japan, as an Xbox gamer for 4 years and reading their history in that part of the world, one would question why even bother? But points to Microsoft for trying I guess. Japan hasn't been a great place for consoles since the 16-bit era. The Sega Saturn sold reasonable well, but I don't know how Microsoft could wish to succeed there. Good luck is all I'm going to say.
No. It costs a lot of money to support multiple consoles. I had a Wii U, but recently sold it because I wanted to focus more on my Xbox One. I enjoyed the One more than Wii U anyway, so I figured it was the right decision. I'm sure people won't agree however
I think it should be free too, but if it was, I think the security wouldn't be up to the standards it is now. Sure it gets attacked, but it comes back up rather quickly. I don't know. This is a polarizing opinion hmm...
I use it to navigate menus and such, but for games, I don't have any that really take advantage of it
