Rather they will just plain out lie and say 'this was the best (parity) both consoles could achieve' or 'the consoles are similar in tech' and my favorite 'tehy both have their advantages and disadvantages' blah blah in order to avoid this kind of controversy for admitting they chose parity to avoid bad PR on either console.
what he meant is, theres a good chance Ubisoft had to keep things "equal" in efforts to cater to that exclusive marketing deal Ubisoft and Microsoft agreed upon for the game. Imagine Microsoft claiming exclusive content but the game running better on the other console?
By keeping parity on the game, the x1 version is the better package with the exclusive content available..
Shadow Of Mordor is an excellent game, one that was done accordingly to each console's specs, if Obsidian did it, so can Ubisoft with their 1000 dev team
the problem is that Microsoft struck an exclusive marketing deal with Ubisoft, so it would look bad if the game ran better on the Sony console. Bad marketing indeed. Theres not much Sony can do with this matter, all they can do is continue upgrading their libraries so that devs can develop easier and have less excuse to keep parity.
no one has confirmed the PS4's CPU runs at 1.6 what has been confirmed is that the PS4s cpu has higher benchmarks on test conducted. Also you cant tell me some slight overclocked cpu will make up for more power RAM bandwith and a superior GPU, please

If we get reports that the x1 sold out in China, then we can confirm 100k consoles sold, otherwise Im betting it was 100k shipped consoles. Nevertheless I imagine it will sell really good, for the fact that its a monopoly in China right now
something tells me Microsoft will be releasing a new console sooner than we think. By the time the new Nintendo Console comes out, I can see MS releasing theirs. Its the only way to stay competitive at this point
