@AndrewLB then you must have a powerful pc if your playing ps2 games through an emulator, FFXII was one of those games that ran 'slow' on the ps2 emulator from what I remember.
It's not just lightning tho, it's Squall and Cloud as well, I hope Zack is in there as well

Reminds me of the times I used to work at CTS. The big boss liked my work, just not the amount of time I took off due to family, so when it came to my dismissal they were all against me and willing to get rid of me, now I hate to imagine how they are coping I worked on one of their biggest projects and I was team leader, I held us all together in those times, oh well their loss not mine.

Facts are that ps4 overall is the more powerful console out of the two, just look at the games and they alone prove that, because they run at a higher resolution and at a higher fps.
Second the XBone CPU runs overclocked, if any of you so called xbox fans had brains you'd go figure that this is only going to shorten the XBone's lifespan, so enjoy your console while it lasts, ps4 is...
right let's all put our glasses on and pretend that TLOU remastered doesn't exist and the Uncharted Collection that is so not coming.
I was about to comment on the fact that because the XBone CPU is overclocked that the XBone will have a shorter life, you beat me to it:)
what as to supposed people on the xbox side waving the 'we have a stronger cpu' flag, there even is a article on it here.

So basically all you have to do is restart your ps4 to get bluray functionality back again, looks like this is a small issue.
I haven't experienced this problem, but then I don't use rest mode.
A very unfair comparison imo, but still U4 comes out as the best and I bet TR is running on a PC, not the XOne version of it.
Rumble = adopted by all latest decent controllers
Motion controls = fad as it only lasted one generation, even though I enjoyed the change for a while especially what ps move had to offer
Touch screen = adopted by handheld consoles and phones for gaming, and is here to stay
VR = yet to be seen but may be just a one generation only thing due to the costs of having the devices
