This review is hard to take seriously after watching the Gametrailers and Gamespot review and all the annoyances they points out.
I can't take IGN's reviews seriously. They give out way too many 9+. Almost everything they play is a classic apparently.
Hard to know otherwise, as IGN doesn't review the game on any other platform if it's not given to them.
God forbid they actually purchase one on the PS3 and then acknowledge the problems the game actually has. But clearly Activision wouldn't want that to happen, so IGN doesn't do it.
If it was an Xbox handheld exclusive it would be 9+.
At this point I blame Sony just as much as Activision/Treyarch/InfinityWa rd.
Sony has the power to not allow games to ship on PS3 if they suspect quality isn't up to standards. They continually let companies/publishers such as Activision & Bethesda get away with shipping almost unplayable games at times, sell on their system.
Clearly if no one is going to stop them, why not release an inferior product that will sell just as well as a fully debugged a...

It makes me wonder if they're straight up xenophobes. Support the American made company(Microsoft)& and continually ridicule the Japaneses(Sony) company.
It's hard to not be aware of a problem that I am sure they most likely created as part of their allegiance with Microsoft.
You can't say it's better on Xbox live if it runs equally and we all know that the problem isn't on Sony's end, as their service runs fine on all first party developed games that I play online.

Ouch. I didn't enjoy the Beta very much, but I didn't expect this.
This review seems to be pretty well below the average score, typical IGN I guess; either way too high a score or too low.
Who really cares anymore?
If the DLC was of the quality of the Borderlands 1 & 2 DLC & out as quickly after the release, then yes I would care.
But at this point the game has been out a year and both of the DLC packs released are mediocre at best(judging from reviews), so again I ask, who really cares?
Dark Souls just released some DLC, go buy that or Borderlands 2 DLC; also fantastic. These companies deserve our money.

I've heard it's extremely linear compared to last ones, a sacrifice made for higher fidelity graphics. That is one of the bigger complaints I read about.
WTF is wrong with a 8.5? Lord, does everything have to be a 9+ for people to care about a game/justify their purchase and or system of choice that plays that game?
My favourite games this generation(Demon's - Dark Souls) have typically received scores around this mark, it's a fine score for what I am sure is a fine game.

It seems like every game now gets a 8.5 - 9.5. Not saying this game doesn't deserve it, but it's strange.
I remember when I first played it and after like 2 or 3 hours in you beat that boss. I was like sweet, that was a good game, short but good. THEN it opens up to be this huge RPG and actually begins, it blew my mind.
Can't wait to finally beat it and gather some trophies at the same time :)
SO, because I enjoy earning new trophies in my favourite game this generation for the sense of achievement it gives me and the extra questing usually associated with it, I'm a kid(I'm 30) or an all around failure at life?
I wish I could appreciate games at your level, which is clearly more highly tuned than my own. You guys are actual gamers, because you have to be against trophies or achievements to be an actual gamer, how dare someone else enjoy them.
Yep, for some reason the god damn backstab hasn't been removed, it can and has ruined most of the experience of PVP.
I'm also pissed they didn't include any new trophies, I am really disappointed in this piece of DLC.

I think Nintendo has acquired the rights to Sony's previously overabundant amount of arrogance before the release of the Ps3.
The WiiU should have been more than what has been released, in my opinion.
