These sites are really wasting their time now. It's almost like no one on these sites has even played a PS3. Sales don't make the console what it is. iPod touch for the amazing amount of features and the Walkman for the amazing sound quality. Microsoft's products will never be built to last like Sony and Apple's products.

You basically contradicted yourself when you said that about Halo 3. That is what Gears relies on as a core gameplay mechanic.
Spot on. I have been trying to explain this to people for the longest time. PS3 is more because you get more. The Arcade 360 is so cheap because all it can do is play games. I bet Sony could easily cut the cost of the PS3 by 150 to 200 if they removed the HDD, took out Blu Ray, removed built in wireless and Bluetooth, and took out the HDMI port.
Halo 3:ODST and Killzone 2 are the games I am most looking forward to next year. WHEN YOU OWN A PS3 AND A 360 YOU CANT GO WRONG.

Graphics are a big factor for me, but all the gameplay mechanics have to be there as well as the fun factor. Halo 3 did this for me. The graphics weren't as mind blowing as Killzone 2 but they had their own style that stood out. Gameplay was great, story was alright and multiplayer is still as fun as it was on day one. "scum of the earth" comment was way out of line. Not all of us who own 360s have a problem with the PS3. And not all of us that own a PS3 have a problem with the 360. The only person whos suffering here is you because your not experiencing the best of both worlds by being an a-hole to all the 360 owners and not "Wanting" to own it. OWN BOTH....

The second they listed the already released Silent Hill Homecoming and Halo 3:ODST as Halo 3:PART 2. At least next year I will enjoy all the great exclusives for the PS3 and 360.

Read before you talk out your ass. They stated that they had already talked about Killzone 2 in another list. Halo 3 ODST will be a great game. They appeal to different fan bases and thats all that matters. I will be buying both.

EXACTLY! I have to list more PS3 exclusives here but LBP, MGS4, Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 all made this a great year for me. I am excluding multiplatformers but owning both consoles makes me a happy gamer.
My 360 now supports 1440 X 900. When I have my PS3 connected to the same monitor via DVI to HDMI the PS3 outputs at 1280 X 720. This is a problem for me because my monitor does not allow you to rescale the image if the input is DVI so I end up with a slightly fuzzy image. If anyone knows a solution please help. I have already tried 1080i=no image and 1080p is distorted and reverts to 720 during gameplay.
