Why would it? Wasn't Molyneux just quoted that he believes there is still more to be done with the current generation?
"Now before all the "Sony has Attorneys already on the payroll" crap starts flying, Sony hired Mr. Bart van den Broek of the Hoyng Monegier firm to deal with lifting the LG ban temporarily. He is a very expensive Attorney that specializes in copyright infringement. He is not their employee, or on their payroll. So there are cases where they have to sub their legal issues to experts in that field."
Like I've said before, once gaming turns into a "service", be it via cloud gaming like OnLive, without physical copies of the games.. then my money will start going else were. I can't stand the idea of throwing money down the drain for a file in the "clouds" that I will never be able to show anything for. No collection value, no nothing.. just a $60 (or so) download. And what happens when that service goes away (even if that's 20 years from the date you bought ...
I think I'll wait for Guild Wars 2.
After I try Ocarina of Time and the new Mario game coming out for the 3DS, then I might try this. If the reviews are decent.
Sorry buddy, even though I will be preordering this and picking this up day one, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is my GOTY prediction.
I would love a new HD console from them, absolutely. Not a Wii sequel either, although if it comes down to it, at least have an option for a controller. I really want to have the magic I felt when I played the N64.
Can't wait, as usual (:
No "optical disc compatibility"? Doubt it. If they want me to pay for a game.. you better be damn sure that I have a physical copy of it. That's why I don't buy DLC unless it comes on a disk.
Last game that I played that short was Force Unleashed 2.. I was disappointed. Not playing this game.
Actually it's not exactly a loss, it's not like they are missing 1.5 million dollars from their pocket. Those were unused codes.. what did it cost to produce the codes? Nada.. They just MISSED OUT on 1.5 million, they didn't lose it.
I won't be envious.. I own 'em both. You play what makes you happy. Period.
Didn't know that they used the developer, thanks for that tid bit. You're right, I wouldn't like that
This will be the first DMC game that I play, and frankly it's the first that has interested me. In the trailer he's a complete bad ass, look at the moves and weapons he's got.. I have no clue why you all are bitching. WAAHHHH!!! He looks different!! Did you ever think that this is a small portion of the game? Don't be so close minded people.
I played this recently, it's actually quite addicting. I didn't want to stop until I made them all.
Hopefully they'll focus on content. The key is quality, not quantity.
Good point, I want one on one time with Skyrim haha.
So what, less than a week and it's "outdated"?
Just as he said: "if you buy a game, of course you have the right to sell it, just as you would a book, a DVD, a car or indeed any item you’ve bought." I realized there was no reason for this article.
"a single copy of a game could be sold a dozen times, potentially going through the same retailer on each occasion, while only its first sale actually gives something back to the people who have spent months and years of their life in making the game."
