I thought it was brilliant as an FPS but would welcome a different take for a return. Sony don't seem that hot on FPS exclusive games this gen, so maybe it might come back as something different.
- Not on PS4 or other non-PS systems. Not on Steam, for instance. Neither is any MGS prior to V.
- Half-baked in that it wasn't that widely available everywhere, MGS has to be downloaded with a code in the box, also exclusive to PS3.
Kotaku are far too apologist about microtransactions and it's a very poor look for them.
The more leniency you give publishers, the more they try to push their luck. That's how loot boxes came about: nobody batted an eye about FUT and then they were everywhere.
