You could say both are digital versions as neither have disc drives, but aimed at different markets.
PS5 digital - for those who doesn’t want/need a disc drive.
Xbox Series S - for those who doesn’t want/need 4K.
If anything both of the PS5’s should be compared to the Series X.

No I honestly don’t think this game will look and perform much better on the PS5.
It might load a few seconds faster but as far as looks/other perfomance I think the game will run just the same (or ever so slightly less) than on XSX.
With that said I’m not saying it can’t look better, with more effort/time/optimization etc etc, but that goes for both consoles.
And no, I also honestly don’t think the XSX will catch on fire, e...

But standard is to use them for ABXY, so you can keep your right thumb on the analog at all times. Pretty sweet in shooter games to never let go of aim:)
