I don't think anyone can accuse sony of rushing this update out. They've taken their sweet f'n time.

Quit defending Sony's mediocrity, all it will do is breed more. Are you so afraid that someone will read your true feelings and run out buy an XBOX that you won't demand more from Sony.
They need to hire some more developers and roll up their sleeves. Is the store so impressive that it's okay that it took them that long? It still displays PSP games under PS3 downloads.
I don't care what the XBOX has or doesn't has. I refuse to EVER buy...
PSN has been a drag. I'm sincerely disappointed by it's underwhelming selection of titles and features.
I have an awesome machine that is capable of doing so much, but lacks support from it's proprietary masters.
I hope that the next console-war is about openness, so communities can fill in and provide software solutions as Sony is obviously understaffed this time around.
I gave up registering for a Konami ID 25 minutes into the process (update, restart, update, register...) after the 3rd name I wanted was taken. So while I'm sure I'm missing out on tons of fun, I am also missing out on feeling screwed. Other than feeling screwed out of it not being on PSN.
