KH3 story will be one huge mess when they try to connect all the spins offs to it like they did with "chain of memories" and KH2. When you play KH2 for the first time you're completely lost even if you played the first one because they don't introduce any of the new characters or anything about the current plot because they think you already played "chain of memories", a GBA game. >.<

All of you are wrong! In FFVII when there are multiple characters in the party everybody unites in one body and you can only see Cloud's avatar while running around but they separate when an event comes up. But Toriyama wanted to make a comedic scene where Biggs, Jess etc. tried to do the same but couldn't because of not enough practice.

compared to FFXIII's girly/starwarish setting with Jpop music and a turn based battle system where you only control 1 character with magic effects that look like they are playing baseball then... I'll take my chances and say that FFvs will be a much better game hands down.

Odin's Sphere is amazing, specially the story but the game's framerate when there are too many enemies on screen at the same time breaks completely. That's why I only finished Gwendolyn's story and stopped playing the game. I really wanted to play as Oswald but forget it....

the FFXII backslash happened after the game was released and the same with FFXIII but the FFXIII-2 backslash started since the day the game was first announced. FFXII sold 6 millions just like FFXIII but now lets see how much FFXIII-2 is gonna sell and judging by its sales in Japan the game flopped. Even a less popular series made with a much lower budget like Tales of Xillia managed to sell much better.
FFXIII and XIII-2 share the same characters but the story itself has nothing to do with each other, the game's basically a spin-off anyway. And on top of that XIII-2 has no real ending, all of them are open but FFVII Cerberus had an open ending but the game never received a sequel. Saying that a XIII-2 sequel is inevitable is kind of retarded because if the game doesn't sell well then you can be sure that FFXIII-3 will never happen. I totally agree with this article, Toriyama has no vision let alone any sense of direction to move the franchise forward. He's been with Square since the Snes days and he still hasn't made a single good game. FFX-2 was a mediocre game and he totally ruined the Parasite Eve franchise forever and now working on doing the same with FF. But at least FF worlds are all different so one misstep can still be fixed.
