I don't understand why they do this. The hardware on the PS3 and Xbox 360 are 90% identical in terms of performance. Is it the PS3's OS or IO or whatever it is called?
I bought BF3 for $40 at Best Buy for PS3. If i wanted to download BF3 from Origin it would be $60.

My 320gb ps3 just died. I still have the hdd. I was hoping this new ps3 would be able to hold any 2.5in SATA hdd's like the other two ps3s.

DICE said the PS3 and 360 could have 64 player servers. It's just that consoles have a bandwith cap on them so they can't handle more players. The frostbite 2 destruction takes up most of the bandwith so if we wanted 64 man servers Sony and Microsoft would have to remove the bandwith cap.
The game looks good. I've heard it's a good mix between CoD and BF3 so if it can mix in two good FPS games pretty well I might buy it. Plus it runs on Frostbite 2 which is a good little bonus.
Naughty Dog make such great games for the PS3. I was amazed to see the PS3 could still pull of such good physical movements and graphics. To me physics are more important to make a game look real than graphics. Our brain can easily distinguish the difference between real life movement and fake animated movements but naughty dog did a very good job of making the movements look less choppy and animated.
The original 151 pokemon were the best. It makes me sad to see the new ones in Black and White because they don't have that pokemon feel.
But it is completely unnecessary... Our computer monitors cannot handle the graphics cards nowadays. An nvidia gtx 500 can display 1080p gameplay and run most games fine. So why upgrade to a superpowered graphics card if the monitors now can't even handle the graphics power?
The game looks awesome and I have faith in ubisoft because they've made some great games like the ac series.
