The console ban was imposed in 2000, so no, they are not new to consoles. Also, I've met about a dozen of Chinese players on 360 who told me they could get consoles on the underground markets. Commercially sold consoles are new, but not new to them in general.
Lol family oriented, in china? I've seen, read, and heard of several news articles of parents killing/selling/abandoning their children in china just to play video games.
@below
They sure as hell weren't playing family games that's for sure. Unless it was Monopoly video game, then I can understand.
If they do that, how would they get the clickz?
is this a serious article? PT only had one Hallway to render, MGSV is an open world game. Still looks incredible than anything out at this point.
This is very interesting.
um, WiiU has been out for about 2 years, Both PS4/XBO only have 10½ months out, One steamed rolled it, the other one is getting closer to it.
Tip for people, If you hit the Glimmer cap, buy weapons and armor/ encrypt stuff from the tower, then just dismantle them for weapon parts and armor parts, that way you always have parts for upgrades, and Rank up the Cryptarch reputation.
Glimmer isn't that important, I buy green weapons and encrypts just to keep ranking it, and get some weapon parts and plating for my other armor and weapons
If they put 20 minute cutscenes, then they bitch that its more of a movie. Just like MGS.
Bungie understands the problem, people will bitch no matter what. I love it, but I love WoW also, so its not surprising haha.
@Opie
I live in a house, to my knowledge its not a rock. Maybe you come from a place of hipsters or something, Ipads can be seen everywhere, they are so popular, my professors used them at my university.
@Koolaid
If you mean software like Sony Vega, then you are very wrong, its one of the best editing software I've used. But if you mean as for their phones, than yeah.
I've never seen a Surface in the wild, seen many Ipads, and full on laptops from dell and hp that try to be tablets, but never a Surface.
Microsoft isn't that good with hardware, they should stick with software.
Actually, all this time was indeed google who was looking to buy Twitch, at the last second, they backed out and Amazon went in for the kill.
I never click any links given by people in chats or comment sections. Paranoid like that.
So Microsoft bought time exclusivity for Tomb Raider, and its a loss. Sony buys Exclusivity for some titles and its a win.
This logic is wrong, they need to put a stop to third party exclusives.
Crytek needs to lower the Cryengine's price, they are bleeding money.
The moment got too epic for me, after WaW I quit playing CoD games.
Yeah, they are funding them for the Port, you think ports don't consume time and money? Also, I meant console exclusive, so don't freak out.
It's called Console exclusive, they helped fund the development for the xbox version, people seem to think that ports don't take time.
Marathon Trilogy(Great Lore), Oni(PC game, which later ported by Rockstar to ps2) Myth, and the Halo trilogy and reach (which to an extent was supposed to be a prequel to Marathon, but they lost the IP so, we may never know)
@xxchicago33xx
Bungie created halo way before Microsoft bought it for the xbox and PC, Halo was going to be a Mac exclusive.
They spend twice as much on a single developer, then they did on their R&D for the xbox one.
