Played it on a friends machine, FX 8350 4.0, GTX 660 oc, 8 gigs memory. But It was the early access version. I'm currently building my PC bit by bit, all I need is a gpu (aiming for the evga ssc gtx 970), a better Hdd, and a monitor and I'm all set.
Mind that this was on September 2013 when it came out, played through Oct. 15th 2013 or close to that date. The game was poorly optimized, with some graphical glitches and frame drops from 70 to 10.
I was kind of disappointed by this game on 360, but at the same time enjoyed my time playing it. 360 version was clearly hindered by the hardware, and PC was badly ported. Xbox One looks to be the best way to play it.
I recommend it, don't let the characters die though, it's perma death unless you start a new save.
I choose both, but if I was obligated to one, it would be a hard choice, but PC would be it.

As of current gen, FFXIV is dominating that position, the cross-platform is what's keeps them alive.

Second, as a BF Veteran coming from BF42, Nam, BF2, BF2: Modern Combat, BF:BC, BF43, BF:BC2 and Nam, BF3, BF4 and BFp4f, I can safely say this is the first battlefield game that I enjoyed since BC2 or BF2 for that matter. Game is fun and entertaining, not so rage inducing as the last 2 BF games.
Game sucks overall, I also reached level 23 (pc), and quit after seen how horrible it was to progress. P2W games like this shouldn't touch consoles IMO.

Um, Gears had some emotional moments though.
Just Cause has barely anything in it though, which makes it really boring after completing the campaign. I was really disappointing when I first bought it.
The problem is no GOD DAMN MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE!! Capcom should be releasing MH4U on Vita, the series got it's wings on PSP, why hinder the handheld that gave you fame!! Got no problems for MH to be on 3DS, just don't get why make it exclusive, when it sold super well before on 4 different platforms.
@Yi-Long You know you can transfer any game from your vita onto PC via content manager, it's quick depending on your computer.
