I too have been gaming since NES, im 27 years old, all the systems are must haves for me. been playing street fighter since SNES. I buy games and don't play them to support the industry.
Gta V will release and you will have people on this site complaining like they did with gta 4.
I personally think gta 5 will decline in sales, since gat 4 released the types of games are different. this is what I think its not a attack. I could very well be wrong.

how is micro to blame? micro did not tell deep silver to make a hard mode and charge five dollars it. micro soft does do some greedy things but this is all on deep silver.

scale to me is depth of play, Bethesda has best scale in their games.
the gaming industry is alive and well. consoles and tablet/phones are a different market. this generation sold more consoles then the last generation, tht tells me the console market is alive and well.
game cube sold 21mil
xbox 1 sold 24 mil
ps2 sold 150mil
compared to ps3 and 360 at 140plus mil
wii at around 90 mil
using the wii u as a base for this is ridiculous, there are no games for that system, I think the wii u ...
we should judge games on being a package, good graphics, good story good gameplay. they should all be worked on for the immersion of a game.

to me next gen means better specs better performance better piece of hardware, look at t.v's first gen of flat screens compared to current gen of flat screens.
we don't wait all this time for a new system to get equal performance of last gen. wii u is not true next gen specs or hardware.

Hard core fans love and know the e3 conference. Not regular casuals who will be buying the system for a specific game or because he got it as a present. I can ask every one i know and they eont know e3, i can ask hard core gamers and they will know. So i dont think nintendo not having a huge presence is going to hurt them. But i could be wrong, just my opinion
I am excited to see what microsoft has in store for the 720(spec wise). All rumors about 720 set aside, i feel like 720 may be better then what people think.
