Perhaps, but most Call Of Duty players enjoyed and became loyal of the franchise as it was one of the first games to offer the perspective of different soldiers of different nationalities during World War 2. It still extends upon that by being a first for showing that you, the player, was not the sole hero of the war, something the MOH franchise couldn't grasp the concept of.

I don't like Treyarch's games, they are still rather focused on "1 man is the savio...

Indeed, as Iroquois says, it wouldn't sell back then because there was no way to send out patches with hardly anyone having access to the net. And just as you've said Walty, well no, because I remember it too and I consider it a better gaming era sometimes than today heh

I enjoyed that. So much effort to create. Pity they couldn't do anything like that at games conventions in the UK, but more than likely during the night some yob would destroy it just to gain satisfaction out of the misery of others.

I know the singer is trying to go for the "on a downer" look, but does it not seem when she does sing in this video that she looks a little stoned or at least rather lethargic?

An entertaining video to watch. A pity the standard format of your website link is in a different language though.

That's actually not too bad. Did you find the game to be lacking a bit since you traded it back in so quickly then? I'd be one of those players who would keep games stacked to collect dust and pick them up again in a few months, or years as it is since I still have my Sega Megadrive downstairs, can't believe it still works heh

My apologies guys. Cheathappens gave this game a total of 5/10. The Cheatfactor 2/10 refers to how many cheats are available for this game

Sure give me a shout anytime you're needing a hand digging out some dates. I've got some old magazines about the house, even a "Genesis" magazine with details pertaining to the release of Mortal Kombat 2. I think I only kept it for fatality moves hehe, but there's a stack of some old stuff I've meant to throw out that'll hopefully be of some use to you guys doing the history thing.

lol mate, just as long as I don't hear the same 5-10 voice actors playing an entire continent of people with the exact same sayings hehe

I love a trip down memory lane to these sorts of stories. It'd be interesting if you continued this type of news article daily if possible. I remember so many old games from the 80s and 90s that'd be nice to have a reminder of including the info on rumor mills from back in the day surrounding said games; just as is stated above in your Triverse quote.

I have actually bookmarked the link already. I quite liked being able to read gaming news in such short, quick bullet points, nice website find mate

I always find these sorts of stories interesting as I have played the Mmorpg World Of Warcraft since beta, and have myself noticed the amount of spam in general chat within the game from 3rd parties trying to squeeze in on Blizzard Entertainment's profits by doing the exact same thing, farming in-game items/rare items to sell for real money, or to sell on an in-game auction house for in-game money to sell for real money as well.

Short and sweet

Very interesting video. As a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series, especially IV: Oblivion, I'm glad to see so many elements seem to have carried over. Especially mode of transport via horses. For such a long time, Bethesda refused to acknowledge that such would even be included Skyrm, but watching this, with a fair bit of gameplay time, it's given me a nice taster for when this game is released. Nice story find :)

Dark Descent was indeed a good game . I loved the old dark corridor scenario, but the fresh turn of having no literal way to fight back, and instead just run and hide made it an even more interesting game.

I'd have possibly suggested Penumbra, even though it is closely related to the gameplay of Dark Descent.

They did state that Kinect had not been "seen as to use it's full potential". However, on several occasions with a few friend's consoles, I've found the Kinect to be very glitchy. I wonder even with an effort like this, will Microsoft be purely pouring money into a bottomless pit. Surely their first concern should be making the censor more pin-pointed rather than going out on such a limb as budgetgamer suggests.
