For Halo ODST to sell 8 million, people that bought halo 3 will have to purchase it. I own Halo 3 and I will not purchase ODST. I really cannot believe people just buy the same game over and over again.
600.00 wasn't hard to spend on the ps3. But I spent over a grand the day I bought my PS3. Bought the system, resistance FOM, The memory card reader for PS2 games, 2 controllers and the blu ray remote. The next day I dropped money on a new Sony Bravia. Never once have I been upset over my purchases. Hell I even bought another 360 after the first one died, My wife was chilly with out it.
A couple of crap ones doesn't make the 360 the king either. Demon Souls looks like a winner and VC was a great game. The only RPG that is great is Mass Effect for the 360, and its also available for the pc.
I played halo and it didn't impress me at all. So only real americans play halo huh. You are now the biggest idiot on this site.
I own an xbox and there is no way in hell I am even gonna rent this game. My buddy gave me his copy of halo 3 after his 360 bricked and I just cannot see whats the big deal with the halo series.
Bought mine last christmas and its very loud, I just turn up the reciever to mask it.
I hope they are making Socom 4, but I hope Zipper is making it.I hate confrontation with a passion and just want that old socom feel back.
I own Halo 3 and it just isn't my type of game. Also Sony had a good shooter series with Socom, but Slant 6 killed the fan base with Confrontation.

Do they both not offer better load times? A mandatory install doesn't make me mad at all. I have yet to install any game on my 360 for a faster load time. I just get a drink while it does its thing, Lifes too short to get pissed about installs. Oblivion GOTY edition for the 360 REQUIRES a HDD for the bonus content to be INSTALLED. Its not just the ps3 that guilty.
I thought game installs were a bad thing?
Final fantasy 8 and 9 were on 4 discs each. But that was in 1999-2001. The only way I would even consider getting this for my 360 and not the PS3 is if I wanted to re live the days of switching discs. No thanks, I'll buy this for the PS3.
I just want to know what happened to everyone's PS2 that makes backwards compatibility such a wanted feature. I still have my PS2 and if I want to play a ps2 game, I use the ps2. I do have a 60 gig with B/C though, but that wasn't a selling point to me.
You get a month free when you make a new xbox live account. They hook you with the free month and demand money for the same experience going forward.
Any usb headset will work with the ps3 and any bluetooth will work as well. I will not use wifi on anything I game on just because it sucks. I wired my entire house with cat 6 for around 80.00, thats cheaper than the 360s wifi adapter. The headset that comes with the 360 looks like it costs .50 cents to make. The wireless headset for the 360 works only for the 360 unless you have the pc adapter. There are more choices on what to use with the ps3 than there are with the 360.
Never knew it was coming so soon. This is the very first game I have ever paid in full before its released. The deluxe version should be the standard that all deluxe versions of games are measured against. I simply can't wait to play it.
