Yeah it's sad that this is what it takes. Also the bigger gaming news sites (other than Kotaku) have basically refused to run anything about this project. I'm not sure what's going on with that.
I've been looking for a good R6-style game for years but all we get are so-called "tactical" shooters like R6 Vegas. Yeah, I guess hiding behind a wall for 3 seconds to regenerate your health is a tactic.
Unfortunately, no. The date is set when you start the project and Kickstarter doesn't allow you to change it.

Yes!! This is awesome... I would have been very sad if they didn't even get the chance to try to make this game.
