ps3 slim is not set to release untill end of this year after they show it at the Tokyo game show
first off if you look at the box it says 160gig hdd i think it was have everything just less to purduce like parts an laber and maybe a external power supply like the ps2slim then over the next 2years or so will make the unit smaller with built in power supply. remember it takes a while to get new tech to slim down anything TVs game consoles ext
im willin to buy another ps3 to help sony out plus i love Sony so it wouldnt matter. i think the ps3 will be a great system to collect over time
