I think this shows that gamers like Xbox games the biggest issue is they have not put enough out. This could be a smart move by Microsoft putting Forza, Halo, Gears on PS before we go into the next generation in 2 or so years time and then push out some New ips as well as give us some classics back but make them pc/xbox exclusive could help turn the xbox back to the 360 days. I doubt this will happen but its an option for Microsoft to go down and try.
I’m not entirely sure what Microsoft’s plan is for the next generation—whether that’s Windows, consoles, or more. That said, I really like the direction they’ve taken with the Xbox experience on my ROG Ally. It feels great when docked to my 3080 and paired with an Xbox controller.

I hope Microsoft do this. I've moved away from console gaming partly because I just don't like gaming as I did back I the 90, 00s and 10s part due to being older but I personally don't feel modern games have the same buzz as they did then. So me revisiting some of the classic xbox games on my Ally is definitely something I'm interested in but it's a wait and see.
For me I won't look at a console again after getting an Rog ally with the 3080. This device plays all the games I have thrown at it at 30/60fps in handheld and 4k 60fps when connected to the 3080. Yes it was more than a console but it's definitely worth it as has so. Many advantages over consoles. I still think consoles have their place the same as pcs too but great to have theses options.

I get where you are coming from. For me I enjoyed the Dreamcast the most that gen and seeing PS2 Vs DC games now I kind of know why with the output being better on the DC. I also owned a Xbox, GameCube and PS2 but the PS2 was my least used console that gan.
I was surprised at the time as I played my psx alot more than my Saturn and N64 I have found each gen my preference has changed. Just like the Xbox one, PS4 and WiiU gen I played more of the WiiU than the other two.

@DeusFever what were you running? I owned a 1070 GTX for quite a few years with a Ryzon 5 2600+ and never had issues running any games in 1080p High to 4K medium, especially sports games.
I own a Rog Ally now and so far the games I have thrown at it have not had any issues too. I get the console point but your PC has to be really low-end to no play games especially sorts ones like NBA FIFA ect.
Im with you on this. For me VR is like lots of tech out there. I own a Duo and love it. Try using a Single screen phone again and I struggle but that said just Live VR its not for everyone. I Used VR for a bit and yeah its great for the moment but having it set it up when you are in a different room or needing space is a pain. The issue is Microsoft need exclusives on GP and for Xbox and a new IP is a good way to start this.
The Beth and AV deals are the long term plans for Microsoft to give gamers a reason to game on their platform (Xbox, pc, GP, Cloud gaming) adding it's games into all other services to is a plus for Microsoft. But this game and others need keeping off the Playstation unless sony allows game pass.

I quite like the sonic that was in the wiiu (think it was called lost world) but I agree love to see a reboot of sonic adventure and bringing our some more old school sonic games that are the quality of streets of rage and Turtles.
@Si-Fly the difference now is GP is fully on PC and Microsoft and Turn 10 know how they have a market to go for in this space as well as competing with GT.

Microsoft still has a name with Xbox the issue is the casual games are not looking at the console because its not the same console their friends have. Look at that poll on how many users upgraded from xbox 365 to one and then the X.
