The differences between wireless and wired controllers is very small, not really noticeable, but if your really into hardcore gaming i guess you would want the advantage.
Controllers which are wired respond quicker than ones which are wireless.

I used to use cheats after I beat a game, they were good for replay value.
I think MS has done really well this gen in terms of games, compared to last gen they really stepped up their game.
