Gears of war is so hyped because it is one of the most fun games to play in the history of gaming. The cover system is brilliant, the graphics are beautiful, the characters are wicked, the action is intense, the multiplayer is amazing, and the chainsaw is INCREDIBLE. I could go on and on. Gears of war is simply the best new IP of this generation and nothing will surpass it. resistance what??

viva pinata has better textures than KZ2
When I played warhead I noticed that some of the textures were not quite as sharp as Crysis, and some parts of the world were slightly less detailed. However, the only reason I noticed was because I spent so many hours playing Crysis in the past year. IMO, the performance increase that you get from the lowered graphic quality is definately worth it. I was blown away at how fast the game ran compared to Crysis. I think he means their source engine is topped out. It was topped out years ago actually. Time for some new middleware buddy, so you can keep up with the rest of the gaming world.
Next he will preview resistance 2 which has worse graphics than gears, and the same gameplay as resistance 1 and he will say its GOTY. He obviously has something against microsoft and clearly doesn't understand the meaning of SEQUEL.

buddy, after Gears of War was released, GOW no longer applied to God of War, simply because it was such an inferior game. Gears of War is so amazing that it has the right to take any title it wants, even FF13, if it so desires. Sony wishes it had a franchise like GOW so it could get up of it's knees and stop sucking microsofts c0ck.
