Games 20 years ago worked out of the box, didn't need tons of dlc and had not microtransactions. You paid your £40 and you got a complete fully working game. Thats the golden age.

I had an Amiga 1200 back in the early 90s so this is a yes from me.
That's why Dead Space 3 was rubbish, tacked on co-op half way though development and microtransactions too upgrade weapons.

I finished it last week. I would have finished it in December when it was released but I didn't know it existed.
It was this that stopped me from buying a PlayStation 5. If I wait a few months most of them will be a lot cheaper.
Release it when it's ready attitude is what is needed throughout the gaming business.
