I thought i was losin my mind but yeah the headset will drop out and i can't hear my squad mates at times.

to get 1080p out of GTA4.
got to settings
displsy settings
turn off the options to display 1080i and 720p, then start the game and you should be playing GTA4 @1080p
I believe it will be a great game.
