That's a dev problem, at the end of the dat they have to develop a quality game, don't really care how hard they work or if the work overtime without salary
If the game is awesome it will sell well, if it's bad and buggy won't get our money regardless the reasons behind it
These news feel more about a person's preference than a real problem with the X1
Not really, but if it is not sold out it's rather due to SONY planned well production times than PS4 lacking preorders
I actually used the PS Eye a lot, kids enjoyed the few PS Eye games and had always a blast recording themselves with the differente effect on the free Eye Create app
Used as well a lot in LBP when tve kids created their levels and to upload videos to Youtube and Facebook, the applications SONY provide are awesome, simple, easy to use and FREE
I have never edited video on PC so it was really easy on the PS3, plugged in the USB with the videos and edited them ...
Lair played well if you held the controller as if was laying on a table and always returned to that position, I had no problems playing it, it was rather very early and instructions were poor, a youtube video on PS Blog would do the trick if game was launching today

Yeah, more bad memories about the 360 d-pad that the DS3 triggers(read my post above regarding DS3)
I recall playing Oblivion and wasting spells and running like crazy backwards trying to get the d-pad to choose what I needed just then:S

People complain about the triggers but the truth is that after the first year or so devs realised what worked better with the DS3 design was R1 and L1 for shooting mechanics, only a few games during the last couple of years force you to use the R2 button to shoot
It always made me wonder if those devs even bothered playing their own game on the PS3 or just ported it and done? I'm mean as a proffesional you should always try to find the best button layout in each console.....
That's correct, that variety of games came as a result of PS2 being a console easy to develop for, delivering fast and cost effectiv dev times
PS4 will deliver PS2 dev times! According to Cerny så don't be surprised if many new and old small devs chooses to release their games only on PS4, add to that larger installbase from day-one and thast make even more sense, in the worst case games will release on X1 some months later when the port is ready
They make it sound like increasing over the known specs but actually it rather means getting close to what the machine can deliver...so not sure where the good news are

Many of those 80 millions X360 consoles are either RROD, backup units not been used or X360 purchased when due to the Kinetec scam that today only collects dust or plays same Kinetec games once in a while, that's what happens when you forget about the core customers of your console
Would it cover different eras in the same game? That's pretty awesome in that case, it reminds me the scene from predator where it had several "trophies" from beating heroes/warriors from different historical eras

Sony had Cerny who had the respect of devs so he was welcomed as they talked samme language, besides SONY folks are known for be easy to deal with when it comes publishing games and that stuff, MSFT is just seen as a corporation that is in the game business but misses SONY's gaming heart, SONY have supported many devs through the years, they are after money as well but give something to gaming in return

They took for granted gamers when designing the X1, they thought:
x360 gamers already pay today to play online without any extra benefit that cross-game chat, game invites...even during first xbox did they pay for it without any extra feature than going online..they are loyal
They pay for expensive HDD, battery packs, they buy a new console when their old RROD, they believe us every year about great exclusives to be announced at E3 during the last four years ...

I would buy a Wii U if RETRO made a HD remake of Metroid: Prime and I mean it, after that announcement I would start looking inte the WiiU's games library but right now PS4 is the only next-gen console I'm getting day one
