That's called "advertising". It's done all the time. Have you ever seen a car commercial that shows all the extra features like OnStar, sun roofs, and dvd players, then at the end they always show the base price large and the price of the car that was actually in the commercial is in fine print.
The Xbox commercial could be seen as deceptive, but so are many, many other commercials that air.
It doesn't surprise me that the Wii Music isn't getting good reviews. It's not a game, it's an interactive software program. So I pick an intrument, shake the Wii remote around and it plays music. Wow, that sounds like fun. Not really.
It's sad that it's come to this. I own all three systems and play the 360 most. But that's because I like the 360 games the best. I was extremely disappointed that LBP was delayed because I'm sure I'll love that game too.
The fanboys on both sides need to stop stuff like this. It's ok to like one system over another, it's ok to be loyal to one over another, it's ok to be a fanboy. But to try and "sabotage" a game for your rival system is ridiculous.
It's too bad that this game has so many glitches. It's really a good game and I know I'll continue to enjoy it. It's still funny to me how people find these glitches. Most of the ones I read about in games I never encounter when I'm playing them. I probably wouldn't be a good games tester.
The thing that felt wrong to me more than the words, was the music. World War II has a mush different feel to it than the Vietnam War. The music felt more like Vietnam War music than World War II music, if that makes sense.
