beta is a blast!
I am truly dissapointed in this news. It's painfully obvious now that the "new direction" of NOT focusing on "pricey" hardware, but on software and sevices, that the new ps will be very cheaply built, which im my mind means faulty hardware issues coming!
I bought my 60g a few months after the ps3 launched at the "High" price because I wanted everything it had to offer and absolutly love all the memory slots, usb ports, glossy exterior, true backward...

Consoles and cars are inherently different from each other, and Sony has proven that statement absolutly true overe and over. Too many examples to list! #1-uncharted 1 looks better than 360's newer games still. The games are still getting better. Thanks
And ms's gaming business model is agreeable to you? You would like all gaming console companys to only support muti-platform, third party games from now on? Yes, it seems to make rich people richer, but I am a gamer, and all I really want is the games.
I also am a beer enthusiast, so I should only dring Budweiser because they sell billions, but not drink a wesleverten abt 12 belguin trappist because they cater to a smaller group of embibers?...

I would say the best 360 game! I love my 360, but 360 games aren't as good as this.

I read this on "yahoo" days ago, and it had over 2000 replies! most were like... "why all the hate for sony", "I always buy sony cause its reliable", "mini disc is awesome", "beta was better" etc... The ones who agreed with the writers negativity had so many wrong or clearly biased points, esp aimed at the ps3 that they were met with alot of "wtf's"! it was funny!

Only people who seem to want new hardware are 360 only owners. Sony has NO reason to launch new hardware! All the multi's and all the exclusives out already, plus all the multy's and exclusives on the way say "I don't need new hardware!"
The vita is special! it has technology and features and functions never before seen on a hand held! Plus, it has unequaled developer support, plus the ergonomics and materials plus style is amazing! how can the VITA be anything but a "must have" for anyone into handheld gaming is beyond me!
I understand that there will be those not interested in it, like I know people that can afford a 458 Ferrari Italia, but are fine with a beat up truck. Im getting the ferrari!
Killzone 2/3's A.I. was stellar imho! Better than all those multi-platform games the writer has listed as needing better A.I. The first game he mentions is COD! then games like BM:AA, AC, etc.. he needs to play some killzone single player or "botzone", then write an article about how A.I. is done right.
Love the beta! what a great game! I have a living room full of friends waiting their turn on it, so funny! Reminds me of the old "socom"! driving, third person, tall hills, etc..
The actors made me cringe! They clearly new they were selling their souls for a buck to hawk that horrible jalopy of a game! so sad! had to go with the "WOW" factor, not alone the clever "slight of hand(eye)", diversion tactic by using the most authentic r2-d2 ever! again... so sad! shame shame!
I own both and prefer the ds3 because i do the "racing sims" gt5-forza 4, the xbox controller triggers are horrible as gas pedals! seems like either "on" "off"!
ds3 for gt5 and cant over look the "d-pad", i do have a wheel and pedals, but its is a bear to lug out. so i use the ds3 sometimes.
When I watch tv, and see a commercial with mis-leading or inaccurate selling points, it turns me off to whatever they are selling so hard its crazy! I feel offended as a consumer! I might even want what they are hawking, but if they use dirty tactics to do it, I usually dont buy it out of self-respect! My point is, if 'ms' did do a "deal" with bioware concerning 360 only voice recognition, then say it was for tech reasons and it really wasn't... well....eff uuuu buddy!
killzone 2 map 'beach head' is my favorite because of the size coupled with lots of muti- level points. killzone 3 its bilgarsk blvd or the revamped " blood grracht", awesome maps!
I have played former games, so I adjusted pretty quick to this awesome demo!
